Max More is Director of Content Solutions at ManyWorlds, Inc., the strategy and intellectual capital design firm. Dr. More is an internationally acclaimed strategic futurist, regularly speaking at conferences in the United States and throughout Europe. He has organized and chaired five major conferences on issues relating to emerging technologies. Speakers have included world-leading scientists in numerous fields and innovative executives. He frequently lectures, writes, and appears in the media on issues surrounding the impact of emerging technologies.
Dr. More speaks at businesses and universities on a range of topics revolving around better understanding the future to deal with uncertainty and to create more flexible and robust strategies. Known as a highly capable communicator, he is able to synthesize diverse areas of knowledge and communicate the results clearly and insightfully. He is currently working on a book, The Proactionary Principle, which considers how we can make wiser decisions about technological and environmental issues.
Dr. More’s formal education includes an undergraduate degree in philosophy, economics, and politics from Oxford University, a Masters’ degree in philosophy from the University of Southern California where he was awarded a Dean’s Fellowship, and a Ph.D. in philosophy focusing on personal identity presented in a dissertation that has been downloaded many times. my biography (pdf)
